I've always had romantic notions about living in a place like the Yukon. I don't think I could hack the winters, but the summers would be great. Found you through your comment on my friend phollowers blog, in case you were wondering.
ZOE- You can come up with Sylvia and I when we house sit. Lynne mentioned in a previous comment that people in Dawson will often go away for the summer (or winter) and will be happy to have people stay at their place for free or really cheaply. We're seriously considering doing it for a month or two some summer after she gets tenure and I can quit working. We'll bring the dogs. We'll hike everyday. We'll see bears. It will rule.
