Brrrr. That's pretty chilly for September. Is that about average for this time of year in Dawson City or is that cold for you too? Either way, put on a sweater, sit by the fire, and play boardgames.
Do you ever play games on-line, like at www.brettspielwelt.de or www.daysofwonder.com? If so, we could play together sometime. If not, check them out. brettspielwelt has a lot more games so you can probably find something you like there. We'd be happy to teach you some of the games we play if you're interested.
Phollower: we're still discussing the thought of playing games online. Scott's friend in Edmonton, who is a big games geek too, has asked him to play a game online but so far he hasn't taken him up on it. I personally already spend loads of time on the computer (it's addictive, eh?) but for sure we could arrange sometime to go online and give it a try. We're gone this next weekend but we'll make a plan to do it soon.
Sounds good. I don't know if you're familiar with these but the ones we generally play on-line are: Ticket to Ride: Europe, Carcassonne (with a couple of the expansions), and Thurn & Taxis. There are LOTS of other games too but those are the ones we play most.
